Buxton FestivalOne Sunday in late July, on Kathie's birthday to be precise, we went to Buxton to watch a one-man play called "Do you still throw spears at each other?", about the life (and gaffes) of Prince Philip. It was being performed by an actor called George Telfer, the brother-in-law of one of Kathie's fellow pituitary group members (William), and who we had met some weeks earlier at one of Will's fund-raising music gigs in a Whalley Bridge pub. After the show we were chatting with George, and Martin suggested that an excerpt from it would work well on video, if he was looking to promote it elsewhere. And so, many months later at the end of November, we spent a day with George at our Salford office premises, filming him in three of his one-man-play roles, as Richard Burton, Sir John Gielgud, and Prince Philip (video below).
